Michael Yarnes – Designated Broker

Every now and then, something comes along that changes the course of your
life. For Michael, that “something” was Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert
Kiyosaki. The book opened his eyes to the power of passive income through
real estate investment, and from that moment, the fire was lit. In 2007, he
earned his real estate license, and by 2008, he had purchased his first
rental property. But finding a property manager whose approach aligned with
his own proved to be a challenge. That’s when he had an idea—why not create
a property management company that does things right? In 2013, Rent Right
was born, built on the simple yet powerful mission of not just collecting
rent, but truly caring for properties as if they were his own.
Beyond real estate, Michael has a deep passion for giving back to his
community. Over the years, he has received multiple awards for his work in
both business and philanthropy, with one cause standing out: The Launch Pad
Teen Center. Alongside his wife, Cody Anne, he spearheads the
organization’s largest annual fundraiser, Share the Love, which raises tens
of thousands of dollars each year—reaching over $80,000 in 2024 alone! His
commitment to making a difference also led to the creation of Do Right®,
the charitable arm of Rent Right, which has contributed over $100,000 to
local nonprofits, supporting organizations that create lasting impact.
Michael’s strong work ethic was shaped early on—first in his grandparents’
sub shop, where he learned the ins and outs of customer service, and then
through high school athletics, particularly wrestling. In 2000, he packed
up and headed west to Prescott College, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in
Conservation Biology (with a minor in Photography—because he’s got an eye
for quality and detail). Originally from a small town in rural western New
York, Michael is a true outdoorsman at heart. When he’s not running his
business or volunteering, you’ll likely find him off the beaten path,
soaking in the beauty of nature—where he feels most at home.
Seth Paget – Operations Manager

A University of Arizona graduate, Seth brings years of high-stakes
leadership experience to his role as Operations Manager at Rent Right.
Previously leading Yavapai County Community Health Services’ emergency
planning and response program, Seth honed his skills in crisis management,
resource allocation, and team coordination while overseeing disaster
response and recovery efforts across multiple jurisdictions. His ability to
remain calm under pressure and implement strategic solutions ensured the
safety and well-being of communities during critical emergency operations.
Transitioning his expertise to property management, Seth now drives
operational excellence by streamlining processes, enhancing resident
satisfaction, and maintaining the highest property standards. Now a real
estate licensee with a proven track record of adaptability and leadership
in operational efficiency, he leverages his background to tackle challenges
and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. He is committed
to fostering safe, thriving spaces for residents and safeguarding owner
investments.
Outside of work, Seth enjoys spending time with family and friends and
exploring the great outdoors with his dogs. Seth’s passion is expanding his
knowledge on a wide range of topics, but crucial historical events and real
estate investing are consistently on the agenda. Learning is his passion,
so If he doesn’t have an answer to a question right away, you can bet he’ll
have a well-researched, insightful response to you in no time.
Amanda Lipman – Bookkeeper

With over 20 years of bookkeeping experience, Amanda has honed her skills
and expertise, excelling in her role since joining the company in 2015. She
takes pride in managing financial records with precision and accuracy,
ensuring the smooth operation of the company's financial activities.
Outside of work, Amanda is a devoted parent and a loving dog owner. She
enjoys taking leisurely walks to unwind and appreciate nature’s beauty.
Gardening is one of her favorite pastimes, where she enjoys cultivating a
variety of plants and flowers.
A fan of bold flavors, Amanda has a penchant for spicy foods and loves
experimenting with different cuisines in the kitchen. Her dedication to her
work and personal passions reflects her commitment to excellence in all
aspects of life.
Sharon Droste - Business Development Manager

Sharon has been immersed in the Prescott property management scene for over
twelve years, bringing a wealth of local knowledge and a keen eye for
detail to every project she handles. She moved to Prescott fourteen years
ago from the Midwest where she grew up in a large family with her parents
and 7 brothers. Her dad’s hobbies included designing and building custom
wood projects and he instilled in her the love of learning how things
work. Her approach to property management combines efficiency with a
genuine concern for both property owners and residents, ensuring that all
parties are well cared for.
Outside of work, Sharon spends as much time as possible with her grandsons,
She and her husband enjoy camping and she never misses an opportunity for
stiff competition of a good game night. Her commitment to her work and
her community makes her a trusted and respected figure in local real estate.
Jill Hay – Inspector
The first rule about spotting Jill Hay out and about in the Quad Cities:
don’t start asking her maintenance questions. Why? Because you just might
actually be talking to her identical twin sister, who is always happy to
share maintenance advice. The catch? Holly’s suggestions don’t exactly come
with the Rent Right seal of approval (sorry, Holly—but we appreciate your
enthusiasm!).
Jill started her career in property management at just 19 years old with a
local Prescott company, working in maintenance. She managed work orders,
coordinated with vendors, conducted inspections, and tackled a variety of
responsibilities. She even collected rent from Rent Right owner/broker
Michael Yarnes when he was just a young man going through college.
Jill later expanded her expertise by co-owning and running a roofing
company. While this venture took her away from Prescott for a time, her
heart never truly left her hometown.
In 2019, Jill’s property management experience came full circle where now
instead of collecting rent from Michael Yarnes, she is proud to work with
him. She now specializes in move-out and pre-move-in inspections, using her
hands-on experience and mechanical know-how to navigate the tricky middle
ground between property investors and residents. Jill’s secret? Staying
fair, empathetic, and always upholding Rent Right’s high standards.
When Jill’s not juggling inspections, you’ll find her wrangling her two
feisty teenagers and driving the backroads. You might also find her rocking
out at concerts with her sister (bonus points if their favorite drummer is
performing!). Jill also enjoys hiking, practicing yoga, devouring her
latest book series, and brunching with the girls.
AJ Ifflander–Maintenance Coordinator
Born and raised in the Phoenix Valley, AJ made Prescott home in 2011,
following in the footsteps of his third-generation Prescottonian relatives.
With a background in hospitality, real estate, and property management, AJ
has built a career around exceptional service, problem-solving, and helping
people maximize every opportunity.
With over 15 years of hospitality experience, AJ developed a deep
appreciation for unreasonable hospitality—going above and beyond to create
lasting experiences and meaningful connections. That same philosophy now
guides his work in real estate and property management. Since 2017, AJ has
successfully managed rental properties, and after becoming a licensed real
estate agent in 2019, he has helped clients confidently buy and sell homes.
Known for tackling challenges head-on and finding creative solutions, AJ is
committed to ensuring every client feels supported throughout the entire
process. Whether buying, selling, or investing, he strives to make the

Sean Beck - Inspection Agent
Sean is a property manager dedicated to delivering quality living
experiences while providing reliable oversight for property owners. His
journey into property management began with a hands-on approach—fully
renovating and managing his own rental property. This experience gave him a
deep understanding of both the technical and human sides of the industry,
from overseeing rehab projects to building strong relationships with
Residents.
New to the field but driven by a commitment to excellence, Sean brings a
fresh perspective, a sharp eye for detail, and a strong work ethic that

Shannon Russo is a born-and-raised Arizona native with a passion for growth
and lifelong learning, even returning to school 25 years after high school
to explore new interests. She has spent most of her life in Arizona, moving
to Prescott in the summer of 1990. Soon after high school, she started a
family and became a devoted mother to her three children, who remain her
greatest source of joy and motivation.
Her professional journey has been diverse, spanning retail, real estate,
and the food industry. It was in the culinary world where she truly found
her passion, building and owning a thriving lunch, coffee, and dessert café
from the ground up. Driven by determination and a willingness to learn, she
embraced the challenges of entrepreneurship. Seeking a better balance
between work and family, she transitioned to serving before looking for a
steadier schedule, which ultimately led her to Rent Right.
Initially stepping into the role of Maintenance Coordinator with no prior
experience, Shannon quickly found excitement in tackling big projects and
assisting residents with maintenance issues. She now thrives in her role as
a Leasing Agent, where she manages lease renewals with enthusiasm and a
keen attention to detail.
Outside of work, Shannon embraces an active and fulfilling lifestyle. She
enjoys being the “team mom” for her son’s football team, experimenting in
the kitchen, and exploring the outdoors through hiking and camping with her
family and their five dogs. She has a knack for DIY projects and

From the dusty backroads of Williamson Valley comes Lacey—more than just a
property manager; she’s practically a property prodigy. Raised watching her
parents navigate the wild world of investment properties, she learned early
that in the good ol’ days, a firm handshake (the kind that would make
today’s lawyers break into a cold sweat) could seal the deal—none of this
fancy-pants paperwork stuff. Times have changed, but Lacey’s here to tackle
modern property management with a sharp mind, a warm smile, and yes, a firm
handshake—just to keep things on track.
With over 17 years of wrangling sometimes-unruly customers in the service
industry and a real estate license since 2016, Lacey has been an integral
part of the Rent Right team—wearing more hats than a royal wedding and the
Kentucky Derby combined. These days, she’s the queen of project management:
bringing structure to chaos (as much as possible in property management),
launching new initiatives, and working alongside the team to solve
problems. She’s the steady hand you want in your corner when things get
hectic.
Though she may only work part-time in our office, she works full-time in
our hearts. When she’s not helping the team keep Rent Right running
smoothly, you’ll find her knee-deep (sometimes literally) in rural
life—working cattle, traveling with her large pack of misfit dogs, or
teaming up with her other half, Jordan, for their next great adventure or
